ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Fiona lives in the tiny rural town of Pingaring, WA, three and a half hours south-east of Perth. She writes her own brand of stories from the country to the coast.

Fiona left school after Year 11, itching to start work and begin her life. She started racing speedway cars as a third generation driver that same year and worked
odd jobs such as rouseabouting, tractor driving and working the CBH wheat bins where she met her husband to be.

It was while running the local shop in Pingaring in 2006 that she began writing down a story that was roaming around in her head. Lo and behold, this was the start of her writing career.
