With respect to the abovementioned development application, the following summary is provided:
• The development produces ‘compost’ that is otherwise known as ‘mushroom growing substrate’ that will be transported to an alternate site used in the growing of mushrooms.
• Composting occurs within a 5,400m2 building, with a ridge height of 6.8 metres.
• The structure is setback ~258m from the northern lot boundary and ~755m from the western lot boundary and 1.4km from the Military Road frontage.
• The facility is proposed to operate from 7am – 5pm Monday - Friday with occasional weekend operations.
Submissions should be lodged within 28 days from the date of this notice (by 4.00pm, 9 May 2023).
