Please be advised there is a flood alert for all communities along the Moore River plain.
Waters are continuing to rise and covering numerous sections of road throughout the Shire - and we urge landowners to make preparations for the safety of your property and livestock.
Shire staff have signposted flooded sections of road where possible.
We ask road users to exercise extreme caution when travelling throughout this region - including not taking any risks with driving over flooded roads (ie, don't drive down roads if you can't see the bottom and there is a strong side current) - and detouring where necessary.
