Transport & Licensing

The following Department of Transport licensing can be processed at the Shire of Gingin Administration Centre, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm: 

Registrations - Renewals and New

We can process vehicle renewals and transfers for cars, motorcycles, mopeds, caravans, trailers, buses, off-road vehicles, boats, trucks, road trains, tractors, mobile cranes, forklifts, earthmovers, mobile farm implements and other vehicles.

Registration Number Plates

Custom and special series licence number plates are available for order.  You have a choice of style, wording and numbering for your registration number plates. 

Driver's Licence Testing

The following Motor Driver's Licence (MDL) testing is available and bookings are essential:

  • Hazard Perception Tests (HPT)
  • Computerised Theory Testing (CTT)
  • Practical Driving Assessment (PDA)
