The Shire can now advise that the most recent samples taken from the mouth of Moore River have returned to normal. The health warning has been lifted and the Dept of Health have authorised the removal of the warning signs from the river mouth area today, Tuesday 13 February.
Please be aware that a health warning is still in place for the Caraban Rocks area (where the rope swing is) and the Shire has received authorisation from the Dept of Health to commence testing this area, effective this week.
A reminder to always be cautious when swimming in any natural waterway.
