Community Bus

The purpose of the community bus is to provide transport for community groups within the Shire of Gingin.

The bus is a manual vehicle and has the capacity to carry 21 passengers or 15 with 2 wheelchairs, with disabled access via hydraulic hoists.

The driver must possess a valid LR or F class driver’s licence and if required, complete a hoist operation induction prior to the hire.

Hiring the Community Bus

To make a booking for the Community Bus you can either download a booking form (see above) or contact the Shire on (08) 9575 5100 or visit the Shire’s Administration Office to collect a copy of the form.

IMPORTANT: if you’re planning to hire the Community Bus, you’ll need to submit an “Application to Hire Community Bus” form at least 7 days prior to the date of hire.
