The Ledge Point Off-road Vehicle Area track currently sits on unallocated Crown Land which is not vested in the Shire of Gingin. Due to this and in the interest of public safety, the area has been temporarily closed until the vesting order can be amended or an alternate arrangement can be made.

Year 10 students at Gingin DHS are participating this year in a Bushfire Cadetship program led by the Shire of Gingin with support from the Gingin Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service and DFES. This program was born from a desire to raise awareness and build capacity within the community to handle bushfire and other fire related emergencies.
