Gingin Visitor Centres

The town of Gingin boasts 2 x visitor Centres with the first Centre located at the Gingin District Community Resource Centre (CRC) whilst the second Centre is located at the Gingin Railway Station. 

CRC Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre at the Gingin CRC is the main Centre for the Moore River Region which stretches from Yanchep in the south to Jurien Bay in the north. The Moore River Region encompasses 5 local government areas including the Shires of Chittering, Dandaragan, Gingin, Moora and Victoria Plains. The region also incorporates the Turquoise Coast and the Midlands Region. 

The Moore River Region is a naturally unspoiled destination for a day trip from Perth or a great weekend getaway with a unique contrast of heritage buildings, great history, stunning farms and back drops stretching from the Northern Valleys and farmland right across to the beautiful Western Australian coastline.

At the Centre you will find a giftware range featuring local products and also an extensive array of tourism brochures and maps plus plenty more.

Railway Station Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre located at the Gingin Railway Station is also a Centre for the Moore River Region. The Historic 1891 Railway Station has been authentically restored and now houses local historical information, tourism information and artworks in addition to a café. Annually their are also markets on 4 separate days which provide a genuine country feel and experience just short drive from the city.
