Restricted Burning Period in Effect

Please be advised the Shire of Gingin entered its Restricted Burning Period on 15 April.

Permits to burn are available from Fire Control Officers and online here.

Please be aware that FCOs have been instructed to be selective in issuing permits as there has still not been significant amounts of rainfall, however the farming community needs to prepare paddocks for winter cropping.

Fire pits, BBQs and 1m x 1m single pile fires will be permitted without a permit between 6pm and 11pm as per the 2022/23 Firebreak Orders, and all other conditions apply.
