On Wednesday 23 November, the Shire held its annual Early Rates Incentive Prize Night at CU@Park Restaurant in Gingin where 10 lucky early ratepayers participated in a fun ‘mystery’ prize presentation and social.

The prizes, which were made up from cash and in-kind sponsorship from local, regional, and metro businesses, ranged in value from $750 to $4,500 with a total worth of $13,000.

We would like to congratulate the following winners:

Special thanks to our local florist Sylvia Kelly for the beautiful flower bouquets, Gingin Jam for the gift packs, and Renae Stokes from CU@Park for hosting and catering the event once again.

This is the 9th year the Shire has conducted an Early Rates Incentive Scheme – and this year 61% of rates paid on or before 19 October, well over half of total expected revenue.

We look forward to welcoming all new and existing sponsors for the big 10th in 2023!
