Please be advised that contractors for the Shire will be undertaking deep excavation works to replace the two floodways on Beermullah Road West. This will mean a section of road will be closed between Mayfield Road and Jocks Avenue for approximately 4 weeks while work is in progress.
Work is anticipated to start the first week of March.
Traffic management will be in place while works are under way, and signage indicating the detour route for Alps Road, Bootine Road and Jocks Avenue will be installed during this time.
