UPDATE: Works on Wannamal Road South have finished and the road is reopened to the public.
Please be advised, Wannamal Road South will be closed from 17 October for approximately a week. Our Shire staff will be onsite digging up the road to install a new box culvert crossing in two locations. We anticipate this work will be done within the week however if work is finished early, we will advise of an earlier opening date. As the road will have large excavation works in progress, movement of traffic is prohibited and there is no option for detouring. Traffic will need to enter Wannamal Road South off Cullalla Road and will need to exit again through Cullalla Road. Wannamal Road South cannot be accessed from Wannamal Road West during these works.
We ask road users to please take care and be patient while these works are in progress.
