We’ve recently had several instances of people taking general rubbish to Shire landfill sites who’ve not displayed or produced their current Shire-issued tip pass on entry, and behaved abusively to our staff.
In order to access any of our landfill sites you must present your current tip pass to our gate attendants or you will have to pay the rate for disposal.
Tip
passes are issued to all ratepayers each year as part of the Shire’s annual rates mailout however, if you have lost or misplaced yours, a replacement can be purchased from either the Gingin or Lancelin Shire Offices for $31.00.
Please note: abusive behaviour towards our gate attendants and failure to followed lawful instruction at our landfill sites will not be tolerated and may be reported to Police.
