Changes to Online Library Services

The Shire of Gingin has expanded its library services with the introduction of 'Spydus' our new online library system.

This means you will now be able to visit your local library in addition to using your electronic device to access and customise your online library experience.

To use the online library services:

Go to https://gingin.spydus.com/ to log in and register your details.

Use your existing library card barcode as the username and your new allocated pin/password number - for the Gingin Library the pin/password is 6503 and for the Lancelin Library the pin/password is 6044.

Your registration with Spydus will enable you to browse both the Gingin and Lancelin Library online catalogues, see what resources are in stock, view current reservations, check due back dates, renew your current loans amongst many other features.

The pin numbers used for library apps Libby, Borrowbox, Hoopla, Kanopy and LOTE4 Kids have all been automatically reset to your registered library. For the Gingin registered apps the pin/password is 6503 and for the Lancelin registered apps the pin/password number is 6044.

If you choose to change your library Pin/Password for your Spydus login this will automatically update to be the same Pin/Password for your library apps (listed above).
