Congratulations to Councillor Nikki Woods who has been voted as
the State winner of the Resilient Australia Awards.
The Resilient Australia Awards, in their 25th year, celebrate the hard work of individuals, organisations, governments and schools who are developing programs and initiatives that help Australians better prepare, respond and recover from disasters.
The image, titled We Work Together as One, captures a joint response from firefighters, police, paramedics and the RAC Rescue Helicopter.
Nikki will now represent WA as finalist in the people’s choice category at the national awards in Canberra.
