The Shire of Gingin has received a development approval application for a short stay camping facility on Lot 31 Dooling Road, Neergabby.
With respect to the abovementioned development application, the following summary is provided:
- The eight (8) individual camping sites are being located on a loop road that traverses the existing building and grassland on site.
- There will be generally no more than 4 persons per site for a maximum of 32 persons on the site at any one time.
- Wastewater disposal facilities will be provided including an existing ablution block for effluent disposal and a designated dump area consisting of wheelie bins for campers to dump their general waste.
- The ‘Nature Based Camp’ site would be in operation all year round. An on-site shelter will be implemented.
Submissions should be lodged by 4.00pm on Wednesday 22 May 2024.
