The Shire of Gingin has chosen to discontinue the availability of the hiring of the Community Bus Service indefinitely.
This measure has been put in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and the Shire thanks the community in advance for their understanding.
Both Shire offices in Gingin and Lancelin remain open in addition to our Landfill sites. The Shire will continue trying to conduct #BusinessAsUsual, albeit with the necessary restrictions put in place by the State & Federal Governments.
Yesterday we closed our Libraries in Gingin and Lancelin but as mentioned, we are working on some new service measures and community members can still go online via our website to access online Library resources (https://www.gingin.wa.gov.au/community/library-information.aspx). We are hoping to look into other areas too where we may assist in providing support to our communities so please keep an eye out for this from us in the near future.
