Please be advised the Shire has engaged contractor, Phase 3, to start Foreshore redevelopment works on Hopkins and Cunliffe Streets, Lancelin. The works will be undertaken from the intersection of Bayliss, Cunliffe, and Hopkins Streets from Gingin Road to the entry into Grace Darling Park.
Work will commence on Tuesday 7 March 2023 and is expected to take approximately 6 weeks.
At
some stage during the project, Cunliffe and Hopkins Streets will be closed for asphalting works which may take 24 hours. We will provide another update about these works prior to them taking place.
Also during this time, Phase 3 will be undertaking Stage 2 upgrade of the Lancelin Skate & BMX Park.
While these projects are in progress, residents may experience increased dust, noise, and vibration from the works.
We ask road users to be mindful of traffic management and signage around the area, and we thank you for your understanding of the disruptions and patience while we get the work done.
