Exciting news for young motorbike enthusiasts - work has commenced on the Ledge Point Junior Off-Road Vehicle Area situated on Lot 5701, at the corner of Indian Ocean Drive and Ledge Point Road.
The junior off-road area project, which has been partially funded by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and supported by the Shire of Gingin, will be suitable for riders between the ages of 8-14.
All bikes and quads using the area must have an off-road vehicle registration which can be obtained from the Department of Transport.
All works are being carried out by local contractors MR Mulching and Lancelin Sands.
Stage 2 of the project will be construction of a viewing platform which has been budgeted and planned for the next financial year.
We are looking forward to the track opening in October – dates and times to be announced.
