At its Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM) on Tuesday 18 November, Council adopted the Council Meeting Dates for 2026, which can be found on our website here.
Usually, OCMs commence at 3:00pm. However, at its OCM on 18 February 2025 Council considered a motion from the Annual Electors’ Meeting held on 21 January 2025 in relation to a change of commencement time for Council meetings and resolved to trial an amended commencement time of 6:00pm for the first three OCMs in 2026.
This means that the 2026 January, February, and March OCMs will commence at 6:00pm instead of 3:00pm. The venue for these meetings has not changed and will remain at Council Chambers in the Shire’s Gingin Administration Centre, 7 Brockman Street, Gingin.
