On Monday 26 January, in addition to our usual Australia Day Neergabby Breakfast, we ran an extra two Australia Day events - the Gingin Aquatic Centre Pool Party and the Lancelin Sunset Movie.
With unseasonably cold and windy conditions (with some weather stations reporting the day as the coldest Australia Day since 1989!), our coastal community still made the effort to attend our Lancelin Sunset Movie - rugging up for the occasion.
Thank you to the Lancelin Bowling Club for catering the event with a free sausage sizzle which warmed up community members before they settled into the story of 'Blueback' on the big screen. Despite the conditions, the movie was thoroughly enjoyed.
