Bus Shelter Locations - Community Consultation Outcomes

Recently, the Shire called for community feedback on proposed bus shelter locations for installation in the 2026/2027 financial year.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the Shire’s recent community consultation on proposed bus shelter locations.

Following careful consideration of community feedback, school student numbers, safety and site suitability, the Shire has confirmed the following works:

𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲: A new double bus shelter will be installed at the Woodridge Hall on King Drive.

𝗦𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲: The bus shelter near the entrance to Sovereign Hill Drive will be relocated to the bus stop near Gilt Court.

Shire staff will continue to assess other locations suggested by the community, with the aim of installing additional bus shelters each year. Locations will be prioritised based on community needs, safety, site suitability and available funding.
