Further to a petition presented to the Gingin Shire Council last month calling for the removal of the Shire’s CEO Mr Aaron Cook, Council resolved at its Ordinary Meeting on 18 April to decline taking any action to remove Mr Cook. The decision was made on the grounds that claims made in the petition were without basis.
Full details on the decision can be found in Item 11.1 of the minutes of the April Council meeting which will be available at gingin.wa.gov.au/council-meetings by close of business on Friday 21 April 2023.
Council now considers the matter closed.
