It is declared that, following a decision by Maarten Kornaat not to accept the position of Councillor of the Shire of Gingin, the subsequent extraordinary vacancy for the office of Councillor has been filled by election under Schedule 4.1A of the Local Government Act 1995.
Robert Kestel, as the first unelected candidate, has been elected to the office of Councillor for the Shire of Gingin for a term of 4 years ending at the ordinary elections on 20 October 2029.
