The Shire of Gingin and local volunteer bush fire brigades will be conducting prescribed fuel reduction burns this weekend at the following locations:
Saturday - Near the Pony Club grounds in Woodridge
Sunday - Corner of Gingin Brook Road and Chitna Road
Whilst some inconvenience can be expected due to the associated smoke, the protection of community from the threat of bushfire is essential.
These plans are dependent on suitable weather conditions and may be changed.
If you have any concerns relating to effects of smoke, it is recommended you keep windows closed and remain indoors for the duration of this period.
