Members of the public are invited to make written submissions in relation to the following proposed local law. Submissions will be accepted up until 4:30pm on Friday, 13 November 2026. Submissions must be addressed to the CEO and can be emailed to mail@gingin.wa.gov.au or posted to the Shire of Gingin, PO Box 510, Gingin WA 6503.
The proposed local law is available from the Shire of Gingin’s website www.gingin.wa.gov.au. Alternatively, hard copies can be obtained upon request from the Shire’s Administration Centre (7 Brockman Street, Gingin) or Lancelin Office (Vins Way, Lancelin).

Control of Vehicles (Off-road Areas) Amendment Local Law
- Purpose: To amend the Shire of Gingin Control of Vehicles (Off-road Areas) Local Law 2021 by bringing the age limit specified in Item 7 of Schedule 1 into conformity with cl. 2.5(1)(b).
- Effect: To enable the Shire of Gingin to issue modified penalties in instances where a person under the permitted age is found to be using or driving a vehicle in an off-road vehicle area without the supervision of an adult.
