Permit to Burn - Applications

From Tuesday 15 April, the Shire of Gingin will enter its Restricted Burning Period. This means you will need to apply for a Permit to Burn if you are planning to:

  • Burn Garden refuse (less than 1 sqm outside stipulated hours, multiple 1 sqm piles at once or burning piles larger than 1 sqm)
  • Conduct a Paddock burn

To apply for a Permit, simply go to https://www.gingin.wa.gov.au/ and click on the red quick link (under the slide show) labelled 'Permit to Burn', this will take you to the online portal where you can submit your application. Alternatively, you can contact your Local Fire Control Officer.
