The Shire of Gingin advises that Cr Jason Weeks has resigned from Council, effective 3 November 2026.
Mr Weeks was elected to Council in October 2023 and served as an elected member until his resignation in November 2026.
The Shire acknowledges the time and commitment Mr Weeks dedicated to his role as an elected member and thanks him for his service to Council and the Shire of Gingin community.
Council and the Shire administration wish Mr Weeks well in his future endeavours.
The Shire is confirming the statutory requirements for the resulting vacancy. Further information will be provided once the appropriate process has been confirmed.
