The Shire of Gingin would like to advise that Executive Manager Corporate & Community Services, Ms Rachael Wright, has tendered her resignation from the organisation.
Shire President Cr Linda Balcombe thanked Ms Wright for her contribution to the organisation and wished her well in the next stage of her career.
"Rachael has made a significant contribution to the Shire of Gingin during her time with us, providing strong leadership across our Corporate and Community Services Directorate and helping to deliver important outcomes for our organisation and community."
"While Rachael will be greatly missed, we are incredibly proud that she has been recognised for her leadership skills, wealth of knowledge and dedication and we wish her every success in her new role."
Ms Wright said leaving the Shire of Gingin will be bittersweet.
"It has been a privilege to be part of the Shire of Gingin Executive Team, to serve Council and to work alongside such a genuine and dedicated team of staff."
"I am proud of what we have achieved together and sincerely thank everyone who has supported me throughout my time here. I will always look back on my time in Gingin with great appreciation and wish the organisation and community every success for the future."
Ms Wrights final day at the Shire will be 30 September 2026. Planning for the recruitment process has commenced to ensure the continued delivery of services to the community.
