Purpose:

In accordance with clause 2.3(3) of the Shire’s Meeting Procedures Local Law 2014, the Shire President is satisfied that there is a need to meet urgently and less than 72 hours' notice can be given on this occasion.
Local governments are required to provide public notice of a Special Meeting of Council, however this meeting is confidential and will be closed to the public.
