DFES has declared a Total Fire Ban (TFB) for the Shire of Gingin tomorrow, Monday, 2 February 2026.
During a TFB you must NOT:
- Light, maintain or use a fire in the open air.
- Carry out any activity in the open air that has the potential to start a fire.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA advises you to:
- Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station, www.emergency.wa.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au
- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
- Download the Emergency WA app and request notifications relevant to your area.
