Please be advised, the Shire of Gingin and local
volunteer bush fire brigades will be conducting numerous prescribed fuel reduction burns in the following areas over the months of September and October:
- Boonanarring Road, Boonanarring
- Quin Road, Muckenburra
- Blackboy Drive, Nilgen
- Nilgen Road x Bottlebrush Road, Nilgen
- Nilgen Road x Sappers Road, Nilgen
- The Lookout and Rockwood Ramble, Seaview
Whilst some inconvenience can be expected due to the associated smoke, the protection of our community from the threat of bushfire is essential. Due diligence will be taken by local brigades to reduce the impact to roads as much as possible.
If you have any concerns relating to effects of smoke, it is recommended you keep windows closed and remain indoors for the duration of the prescribed burns.
