Water Corporation's authorised contractor, DM Civil, is currently constructing a 7.4-kilometre pipeline from the Sovereign Hill tank (off Sovereign Hill Drive) to Guilderton. This important project will help improve the reliability and quality of the local water supply.
To complete the works safely, a series of temporary lane closures will be required. These dates have been provided to us from Water Corporation. Please note that the dates below are subject to change should weather or site conditions impact the schedule.
Lane Closure Schedule:
Stage 1
Sovereign Hill Drive – Full Road Closure (Both Lanes)
Approximately 3 days from Monday, 13 July.
Local access to properties will be maintained. Residents located north of Warrup Road will be advised to detour via Heffron Way.
Stage 2
Sovereign Hill Drive (between Warrup Road and Heffron Way) – Northbound Lane Closure
Approximately 2 weeks from Wednesday, 15 July.
Stage 3
Heffron Way – Southbound Lane Closure
Approximately 3 days, commencing the week of Monday, 27 July.
Stage 4
Heffron Way – Full Road Closure (Both Lanes)
Approximately 2 days, commencing the week of Monday, 27 July.
