Residents may notice occasional water carting truck movements on the outskirts of Guilderton from 3 August 2026.
Truck movements are expected to be limited to no more than three per day and will occur between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Trucks will need to turn into the Guilderton Water Treatment facility along Guilderton Road and drive out along Guilderton Road. A purpose built ‘turn area’ has been constructed for this purpose.
Residents may also notice a temporary water storage tank installed at the Guilderton Water Treatment Plant to receive the carted water.
The water carting arrangement and temporary tank will remain in place until the completion and commissioning of the Guilderton to Sovereign Hill Pipeline Project, which is currently underway.
