Members of the public are invited to make written submissions in relation to the following proposed local laws. Submissions will be accepted up until 4.30pm on Monday, 15 December 2025. Submissions must be addressed to the CEO and can be emailed to mail@gingin.wa.gov.au or posted to the Shire of Gingin, PO Box 510, Gingin WA 6503.
Alternatively, hard copies can be obtained upon request from the Shire’s Administration Centre (7 Brockman Street, Gingin) or Lancelin Office (Vins Way, Lancelin).
All enquiries should be directed via email to the Chief Executive Officer at mail@gingin.wa.gov.au.
Purpose: To amend the Shire of Gingin Cats Local Law 2025.
Effect: To correct drafting errors and inconsistencies identified by the Joint Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation.

Purpose: To amend the Shire of Gingin Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law 2004 in accordance with the undertaking given to the Joint Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation by Council at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 15 July 2025.
Effect: To amend the definition of ‘permissive parking’ in cl. 1.3, replace cl. 3.4 Event Parking and insert a new Item 2 into Schedule 2 Prescribed Offences.
