Planning and Development (Development Assessment Panels) Regulations 2011
The Shire of Gingin invites comments in relation to a retrospective development application for Lot 1 Brand Highway corner Mogumber Road West, Red Gully. The proposal consists of the following:
- The application seeks approval for a Battery Energy Storage System - BESS.

Alternatively, to view the proposal in hard copy, please attend the Shire of Gingin Administration Centre, located at 7 Brockman Street, Gingin or the Lancelin Office, 255 Vins Way, Lancelin during office hours.
Submissions must:
- Be made in writing;
- State the name and address of the person making the submission; and
- Include a statement about the capacity in which the person makes the submission.
Comments on the proposal are to be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer either by post to the Shire of Gingin, PO Box 510, Gingin WA 6503 or by email to mail@gingin.wa.gov.au on or before 4.00pm on Monday, 11th May 2026.
